The guys at Ness City Tyres have known local lad Duncan Macgregor ever since he started in the tyre trade in Inverness. It was no surprise when he walked into the Ness City Tyres office in 2005 and asked for sponsorship to enter the 2005 Snowman Rally.

The surprise was when he revealed he was doing it in a Ford Capri! After many, “your mad” and “ are you insured?” type comments Willie and Norman agreed, Tam also agreed as long as the advert went on the underside of the car as that was the best chance of it getting seen!

Duncan MacGregor and Fiona MacAskill his able navigator have gone on to seek much admiration for their skills in getting the Capri, know as “The General” around the rally where even to finish is an honour.  Duncan and Fiona have even won their class.

Duncan now works with us at Ness City Tyres and we wish Duncan and Fiona the best of luck in their next race.
